About Us
The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Deep East/Southeast Texas is a place where people of all ages, incomes and disabilities can go to get information and one-on-one counseling on the full range of long-term services and supports available in Texas.
The ADRC provides a person-centered, community-based environment that promotes independence and dignity and easy access to information. Additionally, the ADRC provides one-on-one options counseling to assist in exploring a full range of long-term services and supports to meet individual needs along with resources and services that support the needs of family caregivers.

We're Here for You
The ADRC is your link to federal, state and local services for long-term care. It provides information to seniors over the age of 60 and to people with disabilities of all ages and their caregivers in 15 counties: Angelina, Houston, Jasper, Nacogdoches, Newton, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity, Tyler, Jefferson, Hardin and Orange. There is no charge for ADRC services.

Medicaid benefits such as Special Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

Therapy for people with mental health needs

Money follows the person (Transitioning from long term care facility to home)

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Deep East/Southeast Texas is an interagency initiative of the Deep East Texas Council of Governments. It is funded by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and partners with a number of not-for-profit and for-profit agencies.
